Because male paragons wear 'skirts', and people ignorantly can't get passed this fact. That's really the only reason.
I personally think male paragons look cool.

Haha! Between the man skirts and the augmented nipple armor, I can see why people think paragons to be the fruitiest class.
In an attempt to get back on topic, I love playing my paragon in PvE. With the right setup, you can dominate hard in fast. My experience in PvP is limited to alliance and arena battles, and I've usually run straight-up spear damage builds (something with stunning strike) which are still pretty effective. In summary, paragons look like butterflies but sting like Africanized bees!

Is the Paragon Primeval armor worth getting? I see you have to beat the whole Nightfall campaign to get it. Whats it like armor wise?

if you like how it looks, sure. there's no difference between max armors except the looks, they're all "balanced" all paragons have 80 AL with max armor

there's nothing ignorant about finding males in skirts aesthetically displeasing. it's ironic, your ignorance of the definition of ignorant.

And I believe he meant that, because of aesthetics, people do not make paragons. Ignorant may not have been the best choice of word (Perhaps foolish?) but it wasn't inherently wrong. Disliking a class based solely on aesthetics is a bit ignorant.

Paragons are cool, just I think its worth noting that whilst the imbagon is imbalanced, its more about button mashing then skill. I llike to make my own builds, for fun. Dont automatically take the PvX way out, and you'll love paras alot more.

Also keep in mind that the PvX imbagon is terrible.
Actually, most of PvX falls under that heading.

choosing to play a class (in pve) because you like the way it looks isn't ignorant.
neither is choosing not to play a class because you don't like the way it looks.
ignorant would be thinking that paragons are mechanically bad.
